Czech Republic

The Czech Republic is a landlocked country in Central Europe, bordered by Poland to the north, Germany to the west, Austria to the south and Slovakia to the east.
The Czech state, formerly known as Bohemia, was formed in the late 9th century as a small duchy around Prague, which is now not only the capital city of the Czech Republic, but also the primary tourist attraction of the country. Tourists come here to see the historic part of the city with its uniquely preserved buildings and impressive bridges over the Vltava River.
The Czech Republic also has many other attractions to offer: spa towns, castles and chateaux, and breathtaking scenery. The country is also famous for its love of puppetry and marionettes with a large number of puppet festivals throughout the country.
